Saint Christopher Jewelry and Collectables
Legend says that Christopher was a well-built man who came across a hermit while searching for the most powerful king alive. The hermit introduced Christopher to Christianity, and told Christopher that he could serve Jesus by helping people across a dangerous river crossing. Instead of guiding travelers to safe places, however, Christopher would carry them. He is said to have once carried a small child across the river. Once they reached the other side, the child revealed himself as Christ and baptized Christopher. He is said to have converted many people to Christianity before the King of Lycia had him killed for not sacrificing to Pagan gods.
