
St. Alphonsus Liguori Jewelry and Collectables
Born to a noble family in Italy, St. Alphonsus (1696-1787) was a successful lawyer when he turned to the priesthood after losing his first case. He started the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and eventually became a Bishop . Saint Alphonsus would preach to parishes and was a prolific writer. He wrote several works, including his life’s masterpiece, Theologae Moralis and The Way of the Cross. He died at the age of 91.
